This Week on the Island 11/28/2021

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: A bit chilly this morning 65 degrees.

Nov 22nd was this week. The day we lost President Kennedy. Here he is in Key West at the time of the Cuban Missel Crisis.

It has been a bit windy this week, The Temperature has dropped, but it is beautiful.

The decorations have started. This is Lazy Way Lane.

Jo’s new trike came in this week. The M330-P7 is lower to the ground that her old trike the M350-P7. Teeki and I now ride her old trike as mine quite working when the power cord was pulled out of the front wheel. No one here in Key West works on them.

And of course, Thanksgiving was this week. Hope yours was wonderful.

The USCG Cruiser Ingham was hooked up to a tow-boat and towed away. I was told it had a leaky bottom.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’.  Pic from Bo Fodor.
