This Week on the Island 08/28/2022

 

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

 The Weather: August, hot, humid, Same as last week and next week.

Not a lot happening in Key West this week. Politics, Weather, etc.

 Turtles are hatching on the beach. The hotter the weather, the more females are hatched.

They head for the water.

One day this week was National Dog Day. We have two.

Bolt (lightning bolt on his forehead).

I made a box for Bolt on the back of Jo’s tricycle. He likes to ride.

Only in Key West. A cat in the banana tree.
