This Week on the Island 12/04/2022

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Another beautiful week.

This week was the burning of the Hurricane Flag. Hurricane Season is over for another year.

We have already had the Christmas Parade. This is the lighted Bike Parade. Next, we will have the Lighted Boat Parade.

The Miss Key West unloading Key West Pink Gold (shrimp) at the dock next to Schooner Wharf where the Western Union used to be parked.

Teeki had her 8th birthday this week. She wanted to go to Schooner Wharf and listen to Michael McCloud. We had chicken wings and beer. Teeki and Bolt had chicken bones and water.

Christmas Lights at the parking lot on Caroline Street.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’.
