‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

 The Weather: We had another spell of winter last weekend (MLK weekend). The last one a few weeks ago was 5 long days, this one was only a couple of days. BUT we are back near the 80’s now.

Last Sunday morning was the Half-Shell Half Marathon.

The sail boat races have started.

Then there was the Sea Food Festival.

Lots of entertainment around the island

Buffett is returning in February.
