This Week on the Island 09/11/2005
'This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Sunny and hot.
This weeks book was 'Pirates and Buried Treasure' by Jack Beater. The book is full of true stories of the pirates that lived in Florida when it belonged to the Spanish, where their home ports were, and which islands they buried their treasure on. Makes me want to get a shovel and start hunting.
I have had a deviated septum since my 'service related incident' in 1966. This week I had it fixed. Lots of pain. Then It got infected. Lots more pain. I am at a point now where I may live. Spent most of the week moaning.
Nothing to report from Key West this week. I'll try to do a better job next week.
Key West, You have got to love it
