This Week on the Island 03/20/2016

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Another beautiful Week.

The book this week was ‘Bar Stories’ by Chris Rehm.

This week was the 3^nd week of Spring Break.

The beaches are pretty clean this year.

We also had St Patricks Day. Koda and I went to Schooner and listened to Michael McCloud.

Riding my trike across town at the corner of Williams and Angela I was stopped by a 'New Orleans' style funeral.

Lots of folks at South Beach and the Southernmost Point.

We leave you this week with a picture from Fresh Water Dave's Facebook Page. This is called a Square Grouper (bale of Marijuana) that has washed up on shore. They are tossed overboard by drug smugglers when the government starts chasing them.
