This Week on the Island 12/18/2022

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: We got a little rain this weekend.

The Teeki Kart has been fixed, it was broken for a few weeks. Jo and I purchased two M350's from AddMotor about 4 years ago. Mine quit working last April and Addmotor did not have the part I needed. Jo purchased a new M330 from Addmotor and I got her old M350. Well, it quit working a few weeks ago and needed the same part. They found the part in the warehouse in China and I purchased 2 of them and fixed both trikes today. Teeki and I are riding again. Yea!

Jo and Bolt, Teeki and I were ready to go for a ride and Jo’s M330 trike wouldn’t go. I tried everything I knew to do and couldn’t fix it. The next morning, I was reading the owner’s manual and saw that her trike had a switch next to the throttle that cut the power to the front wheel. Flipped the switch and her trike is back in operation.

We had the Lighted Boat Parade last week end.

Christmas is next week so from Jo and I and Teeki and Bolt, ‘Merry Christmas’.

We leave you with ‘Easy like Sunday morning’.
