This Week on the Island 04/12/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The Weather:  Same as last week and the week before. And the week before.  And the week before. Next week looks pretty good also. And on and on.
This week’s book was:
Saw this one morning on our Teeki walk. It looked kind of religious. Made me thing of better times ahead.
The pink super moon over Key West.
We have two islands off Mallory Square. One is Sunset Key (used to be Tank Island) and Christmas Tree Island (used to be Wisteria Island). This is the ship Wisteria that ran aground and the island was built around it.
Of course, there was Good Friday.
And Easter

We leave you today at Geiger Key.
