‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

 The Weather: Lots of weather due to Fred.

This week was Captain Tony’s birthday. If you are a Jimmy Buffett fan, you know Captain Tony.

We were supposed to have Lobster Fest, but it got rained out due to Fred.

I like this. It is true in my case.

The house next door is being ‘updated’. First pic is Before

Now it is hanging in the air and ready to be raised to the new regulated height.

This could be Captain Jack coming into the harbor.
