This Week on the Island 03/04/2018

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The Weather: Next week?

This week I finished ‘Fallen Hunter’ by Wayne Stinnett and started ’Kilimanjaro Snow’ by Lewis Haskell.
Teeki and I went for another little Trike ride around town. This is at the dog park on Trumbo Road. Left to right: Shelby, Teeki and Shadow.
At Fort Zack looking toward the cruise ships.
Looking out over the ships channel.
Teeki at the little beach at the end of Simonton Street at the Gulf of Mexico.
Same little beach. The pier is pointing toward Christmas Tree Island. It used to be Wisteria Island.
Teeki at the beach on the end of Duval Street at the Atlantic Ocean.
Teeki at a little beach out back of Casa Marina.
Teeki at the end of White Street pier.
Hanna and Boaty at the dog park.
We leave you this week with a Pic from the Key West Citizen that shows the traffic coming into Key West. Note the little white car with the University of South Carolina tire cover. I am from S. C. and graduated USC many years ago.
A tourist stopped me and said  'that damn Teeki has a better and more exciting life that I do'.
