‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: It has been hot.

We have dust from the Sahara in North Africa in the air. It happens most every year.

But this is Key West.

And 3 cruise ships of people wanted to be here Friday.

Teeki and I spent some time at Schooner. She had water with ice.

I had chips and salsa

And beer
