This Week on the Island 10/14/2018

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The Weather: Hurricane Michael came a little close the first of the week.
Not much happening in Key West. School started back in September and the tourist left the island but the heat remained. September 10th is the ‘high time’ for hurricanes. October got here and remained hot with not many tourists. But Goombay should be here soon and then Fantasy Fest and then the Parrot Heads get here the first of November.
SO, let’s go for a ride with Teeki. We went down Duval and took a right on Patronia and went back into Bahama Village. Down to Fort Street and back up Olivia Street to Duval.
We leave you this week with a picture of a captured sub that was carrying 4.1 tons of cocain.
