------------This Week on a Different Island------------------

We went to the island of Hispaniola last week. The island is divided into Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We went to the D.R. to Punta Cana and the Now Larimar Resort. It is an all-inclusive resort (that means everything is included in the original cost ). The end of the island we were on is to the east and pointed toward Puerto Rico. Jo and I went on a tour of a cigar factor and purchased some Cubans. I spent a bunch of time smoking Cubans and drinking Dominican rum by the pool. The resort was very nice and the beaches were very white and fluffy like sugar. There was a reef about 1/2mile offshore so the Atlantic waters were very calm (no waves). Also we got to see the sunrise instead of the sun set.
