Weather:
A water spout near Duval Street for Labor Day Weekend. Lots of rain this week, Tuesday morning I got a
call from Jo. She got part of the way to work and it started raining. I got the
Suzuki and went and traded with her. She drove the car on to work and I rode
the trike home in the rain.
No
book this week
This
week began with Labor Day and again my wife got a day off but I didn’t.
----------------This
week was Women in Paradise-------------
A
rather large beer bash was held under some tents on the Atlantic side of the
island
-----Diana
Nyad, a 64 year old woman, swam from Cuba to Key West. This was her 5th try. An argument developed as to if it was 110 miles or 90 miles. The answer is 90 nautical miles is the same as 103.57 statute miles.

It
looks like Cheese Burgers is closing. It is on Duval across from Coyote Ugly.
Boca will miss their dog water tiki hut that used to sit out on the sidewalk
Over 500 baby turtles were released back
into the Atlantic off Boca Raton. It was such a big job that the Coast Guard
got involved. They went out until they found a large mass of floating seaweed
and turned the turtles loose.
Key West you have got to love it
