This Week on the Island 06/01/2014
‘This week on the Island' is
written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key
West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather:
Same as last week. Highs in the mid 80’s with lots of sun, blue skies, white
clouds and a nice breeze. It was warmer in Minnesota Friday than it was here.
The
book this week was ‘Hothouse Orchid’ by Stuart Woods.
We
added a new member to the family this week. We found Aurora at the SPCA here in
Key West. She is 5 ½ years old, black and white Siberian husky with black eyes.
She is beautiful and well trained.
The
Royal Poinciana Trees are in full bloom. They are bright red and in some of the
islands they are called Fire Trees.
How
about a picture of the restaurant on the beach before Salute.
Or
maybe the old jail
As you
can tell, I didn’t take a lot of pictures this week because I have been working
with the new dog. I will try to do better next week.
Key West you have got to love it
