This Week on the Island 09/12/2004

'This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week was WOMEN IN PARADISE. Their week was cut short by the mandatory evacuation of all tourist on Thursday and the mandatory evacuation of all residence on Friday. Many of us that stayed are hanging at Schooner Wharf Bar and talking about the weather.

Hurricane Charley missed us to the left and Hurricane Frances missed us to the right. Hurricane Ivan was coming right at us until it took a left turn at Jamaica. Looks like we will have a tropical storm and miss the hurricane.

This is a short 'This week on the Island' due to previous hurricane messages sent to friends and family.

Key West, you have got to love it.
