This Week on the Island 03/29/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Same as last week and the week before. And the week before.  And the week before. And next week.

This week’s book was:

Finished it and downloaded another.

Key West is closed. US#1 at the Monroe County line is closed and checking to be sure you are a resident before allowing you into the Keys.
Even the beach is closed.

And patrolled.

Jo and I are practicing ‘Social Distancing’ we are not ‘isolating’. This is ‘Fred’ he is on the old 7 Mile bridge. He is practicing isolation.

Teeki and I rode from the Gulf of Mexico end of Duval Street.

To the Atlantic end of Duval Street.

Then we road from the Atlantic end of Simonton Street.

To the Gulf of Mexico end of Simonton Street.

Not much  happening.
