‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Beautiful most of the week, but rain for Saturday.

I finished the book that I started last week.

I read another book.

One of Americas newest ships at the outer mole. I think it is the USS Detroit.

On Jan 25, 1965, 55 years ago, I answered my countries call and joined the military.

Sunday, 02-02-2020, will be Ground Hog Day.
