This Week on the Island 07/05/2020

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Hot.

There are 365 days in the year. That is an odd number, therefore one day is the middle day of the year. That day is July 2^nd and that is the day we got married in 1971.

This is us now. It has been a good life.

This week was also July 4^th, Independence Day. Our Beaches and bars are closed, but people still come to Key West.

Fireworks were cancelled.
