This Week on the Island 04/26/2020


‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Same as last week and the week before. And the week before.  And the week before. Next week looks pretty good also. It was supposed to rain (maybe) on Saturday or Sunday. So far nothing.
This week’s book was:

Instead we are in lockdown. The highway is closed and people are being sent back north.
So, Teeki and I rode around checking out the beaches.
Simonton Beach closed.

Mallory Square closed.
Truman Waterfront Park closed.
Fort Zack Park closed.
South Beach closed.
Dog Beach (next to Louis Back Yard) OPEN.
Higg’s Beach closed.
White Street Pier closed.
Smather’s Beach closed.
