This Week on the Island 09/16/2018

 ‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather: Bright sun, blue skies and white clouds.

The book this week was ‘Fallen Mangrove’ by Wayne Stinnett. 

I am NOT trying to say anything about Hurricane Florence. This week is one year since Hurricane Irma hit the Keys as a Category 4 Hurricane.

The day Irma came to town and the day before it did come to town.

What Irma left.

Yet some survived

One year later and the motor cycles are in town for a Poker Run.
