This Week on the Island 06/04/2017

‘This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.
The Weather: Summer is here. Hot and humid for the next 6 months.
When is the last time you read ‘Romeo and Juliet’’ by Shakespeare? The story of how a 12-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy got 5 people killed.
This is Shadow (a malamute) and Teeki (a Siberian Husky) playing. Shadow is 4 months and Teeki is 3 years.
We took a road trip to the VA in Miami. Stopped at Veterans Park (MM39). This Cuban Chug was sitting there. Wonder how many people made it here and if they did before 'wet foot dry foot' went away.
Spent the night in Miami. Got an MRI of my right ankle and left knee. Hope to fix both. Lots of pain.
Melody Jordan-Brewer sent me this pic.
We leave you at Captain Tony’s. Had a guy from Wisconsin come out to say ‘HI’ and to thank me for ‘This Week On The Island’.
Key West, you have got to love it
