Weather:
I remember February in South Carolina as being wet and cold. It was a good time to
sit inside and work on taxes. Here it is hard to find time to do taxes because
it is so wonderful in February.
The
book this week was ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ by W Bruce Cameron’. It is a real tear jerker
about a dog that keeps being born again as another dogs and remembers its past
lives.
It is February
and beautiful. There are flowers everywhere. We know why the Spanish
named this place Florida.
Let’s
start with the beautiful hibiscus next to the front gate.
Then
there is the orchid next to the side door.
And
the cactus out the back door.
The
bougainvillea hanging on the front porch
Let’s
not forget the tomato plant
Or the
bananas (only about 2 dozen this year). A banana tree only produces once, then
the little trees growing around it have their chance to produce.
This
is such a pretty place to live. Blue skies, clear water, bright sun, white old
houses, lots of flowers and warm most of the year.
Next week starts Spring Break. Spring Break is from the first week end in March until Easter week end. So, there will be 7 weeks of spring break this year.

Key West you have got to love it
