Weather:
Some of that cold from up north finally made it to Key West. It only got up to
the low 70’s a few days this week. Lots of bright sun shine.
No book
this week.
This
week was the anniversary of the sinking of the USS Maine. It blew up in Havana
harbor and the US went to war with Spain. The picture is the USS
Maine burial section of the Key West cemetery.
We had a baby turtle (slider) born this week. The
coin is a nickel.
We also had one of Jo’s co-workers deliver
a tortoise (land turtle that really gets big) to our house.
This week also was Valentine’s Day. This is
Jo, the love of my life.
Our new dog Tyler has become my new dance
partner at Schooner Wharf when Michael McCloud plays ‘Schooner Wharf Bar Dog’.
Key West you have got to love it
