This Week on the Island 06/24/2012

This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Wednesday, June 20th, was the first day of summer. It was 81 degrees with some summer rain here. It was roasting up the east coast of the U. S.

No book this week.

I finished the fence this week. That was a lot of work for this old guy.

As of Wednesday, the first day of summer, the new speed limit in Key West is 20 MPH. The only exception is North Roosevelt, South Roosevelt, and Flagler Ave where it is still 30 MPH.

I didn’t take pictures this week (lots of rain). I will post some old pictures.
