This Week on the Island 04/15/2012
This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Another beautiful week. Highs in the low 80’s and little to no humidity. Lots of sunshine, white clouds, and blue skies.
This week I read ‘Chasing Midnight’ by Randy Wayne White. I always enjoy the adventures of Dr. Ford.
We have had a few businesses that closed on Green Street. The Conch Republic Cigar Store has closed or moved. It was next to Tattoos and Scars. The Sports Page (close to Pepper’s of Key West) has brown paper in all the windows and is not open. The little building next door to The Sports Page had an Art store in it and he closed and moved to the other end of Duval Street. Albertsons grocery store, in the Kmart shopping center, is also closing by the end of the month.
