This Week on the Island’ is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

The Weather:  Another beautiful week. We need rain but we are in the dry season. It ends the first of June.

I found another picture of Key West after the great fire of April 1886. The only firetruck was in New York for repairs.

We, of course, had April Fool’s Day this week.

My trike turned over 2000 miles this week.

 

April 3^rd was countdown day. For what I don’t know.

Sunday is Easter, so here is a Key West Easter.

But this is what it is all about.
