This week on the Island' is written by Doug Bennett and is an update to friends about happenings in Key West last week. Everything is true except for those parts that are lies.

Weather: Nice. We don’t crank up the AC until about noon. The wet season is almost over and the dry season and lower humidity is almost here. For a few hours in the morning we can open the house up and let it breath.
This week I tried to read ‘History of England’ by Dickens. I returned it to the library.
Saturday night and the island was packed.
Important things first! Sassi’s 15 birthday was celebrated at Schooner Wharf on Saturday. We had bags of treats for other dogs.
We had people cake
Now for other things. Next week is Goombay, the celebration of our African Heritage. More on that next week.
The Parrot Heads, Jimmy Buffett Fans, will be here the first of November, so here are a few more places they may want to visit.
